Jon and Dee White moved from Plymouth to Saltash in 2013 to start the journey of establishing the church.

Jon’s working life is split part-time between being an elder in the church and Lopwell Barn, an amazing retreat, respite and holiday venue on the edge of Dartmoor. Jon’s main church roles are overseeing the pastoral care and family life of the church, and our community work.

Dee splits her time working part-time as the church administrator, and part-time for SWYM organising the annual youth and children’s festival Spree.

They have a son at Saltash Community School and as a family, love paddle boarding, mountain bike adventures and beach escapes in their camper van. They are both passionate about establishing a welcoming church community for everyone and anyone, whatever their story.

Simon and Jenny Thomas joined the Redeemer Saltash family in 2014. Simon works full time for the church leading the eldership team and overseeing Sundays and Life Groups. He loves helping people encounter Jesus for themselves. Jenny currently works for the Uniform Store Plymouth, helping provide free uniforms for children in Plymouth and the surrounding area.

They have two children in secondary and further education, both of whom serve in different ways in the church. As a family they too love adventuring on or near the water, exploring Dartmoor – and food!
