Saltash Regatta and Waterside Festival 25th & 26th July 2026
We love being part of the Saltash Regatta each year - joining in the fun, serving our community, and giving people a chance to get to know who we are as a church.
We’ll be around all weekend, so please come and say hello. If you’re curious about who we are as a church or want to find out more about faith, we’d love to meet you and have a chat. We’ll be based opposite Ashtorre Slipway.
Cardboard Boat Race
Race Day: Sunday 26 July. Race Starts: 2:00 PM Location: Ashtorre Slipway
One of our favourite Regatta traditions is the Cardboard Boat Race! Each year, teams take to the water in homemade boats made entirely from cardboard to see who can complete the course… and who might sink in the most spectacular fashion.
The competition is open to individuals, local businesses, schools, clubs, organisations, or anyone who would like to have a go. All you need is a cardboard boat, a team name, and a good sense of humour!

Want to watch?
Head over to Cardboard Boat Race HQ opposite Ashtorre Slipway from 10 AM on race day to see the boats up close, meet the Redeemer team, and vote for your favourite entry for a chance to win a prize.
Then stick around for the race at 2 PM and watch the creative, chaotic and occasionally soggy action unfold on the Tamar!
Churches Together
New Location: Jubilee Green Sunday 26 July | 10:30 – 11:30 AM
We love joining with other churches from across Saltash to gather, pray, and worship together during the Regatta weekend. The Churches Together service is a relaxed outdoor service, and everyone is warmly welcome to come along.

The Super S.U.P. Challenge - Can you walk on water?
Ashtorre Slipway
Sunday 26 July | 12:00–1:00 pm
Think you've got what it takes? Grab your friends and take on our giant paddleboard challenge! We've joined paddleboards together to create a wobbly obstacle course where the aim is simple... make it to the end as quickly as you can.
Will you stay dry or take an unexpected dip? Either way, it's guaranteed to provide plenty of laughs! Don't worry – our safety team will be on hand throughout. Under 18s will need to complete a parental consent form!
Not keen on getting wet? Grab a drink from the Ashtorre Rock Café, find a spot on the balcony and enjoy watching everyone else trying to stay on their feet!
Kids' Craft Drop-In
Waterside Green
Saturday & Sunday | 10:00 am–4:00 pm
Looking for something calmer and more creative to keep the children entertained? Pop along to our free craft area where children can enjoy a variety of fun, hands-on activities throughout the day.
All materials are provided, and our friendly Kids Team will be there to help everyone get creative. Just drop in whenever you like—no booking needed!
